CHC Submits Comments on Infill Guidelines 2nd Draft
Submitted by Eric Mackres on Mon, 02/04/2008 - 6:07pm.Following a broad-based dialogue among CHC’s Policy Leadership Task Force last week, today CHC submitted a second set of comments to the revised ‘draft’ guidelines for the Infill Development Set-Aside issued by the State Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) on January 29th. A $240MM Notice of Funding for this program is expected to be issued by HCD in February with allocation awards scheduled for June.

HCD Releases TOD NOFA Application and Announces TOD and Infill Workshops

HCD Releases Final TOD Guidelines and NOFA
Submitted by Eric Mackres on Tue, 12/11/2007 - 11:41am.The final Transit-Oriented Development funding guidelines and Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) in the amount of $95 million are now posted on the website of the California Department of Housing and Community Development. Applications for the NOFA will be due March 7, 2008 with funding awards to be made by June 2008.

Governor Schwarzenegger Signs Many (and Vetoes Some) Housing-Related Bills - Expanded

AB 641 (Torrico) Developer Fees. Defers fees for public improvements for the affordable homes in a residential development in which at least 49% of the homes are reserved for lower income households. Fees are deferred until leasing begins
