CA Dept of HCD to Hold Stakeholder Meetings on Prop 1C Infill Funding

The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) will be holding stakeholder meetings in October on the Infill Incentive Grant Program created through Prop 1C.  The Department will subsequently release guidelines with the intention of releasing a Notice of Funding Available by January 2008 The dates and locations for the meetings are as follows:

Fresno - 10/18/07, 1pm - 4pm, 2550 Mariposa Mall, Room 1036
Oakland - 10/22/07, 1pm – 4pm, Ehilu M Harris Building, 1515 Clay Street, Auditorium
Riverside - 10/29/07, 1pm – 4pm, Codes & Standards, Southern Office, 3737 Main St., Ste 200, Highgrove Room
Burbank - 10/30/07, 1pm – 4pm, Buena Vista Branch Library, 300 N. Buena Vista St., Auditorium
Sacramento - 11/02/07, 9am– 2pm, 400 R Street, 1st Floor, Sacramento River Room

In addition, there is a new timeline for Transit-Oriented Development program implementation, since the Department received numerous comments, they will be issuing the revised draft guidelines in early October and allowing another round of public comment through mid-October.  The first NOFA for the TOD program is slated to be released in early November.
