Ray Pearl New CHC Executive Director

The Board of Directors of CHC is extremely pleased to introduce the new Executive Director of CHC and the CHC Institute, Raymond C. Pearl.

Ray Pearl has joined CHC as its Executive Director effective March 30, 2009, after a comprehensive national search conducted over the past several months. Ray brings many strengths to this position, including a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington and a BA from UCLA; several years’ experience as Executive Director of the Greater Los Angeles/Ventura County Chapter of the Building Industry Association, in which he honed his skills leading a large and diverse membership organization, as well as gaining exposure to housing and land use related public policy issues; deep experience in local, regional, and state-level advocacy; and experience at the federal level as a Congressional district staffer. Ray served most recently as VP for Government Relations & Forward Planning for SunCal Companies, a California based development company.
