Jamboree Housing’s Laurel Crest Apartment Homes opens this month as one of Los Angeles County’s premier green, affordable housing developments. Marketed to families earning between 40% and 60% of the area median income, rents range from $586 to $1,035 per month. With a density of 26.5 units to the acre, Laurel Crest consists of (36) 2 bedroom units and (36) 3 bedroom units, with carports and 127 parking spaces.
The City of San Jose Housing Department is one of the primary lenders for the construction of this 98-unit SRO development in San Jose. The project is flanked by Westgate Shopping Center to the north and the Saratoga Shopping and Theatre Complex to the south and is located near a major transit hub.
