Completed in fall 2007, Auburn Park is a 69-unit affordable family housing complex featuring studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. CHC member Affirmed Housing Group partnered with the City of San Diego Redevelopment Agency (CCDC) to create this safe and resourceful environment for low-income families.
CHC supporting member HKIT Architects have developed Giant Road Family Apartments, a $27 million project which provides quality affordable rental housing and innovative resident services to lowincome families and individuals. The units are targeted for households with initial incomes between 30% and 60% of Contra Costa County Area Median Income (AMI).
CHC Membership organization National Community Renaissance (National CORE) has completed a striking renovation of low-cost condominiums originally built in 1969. Through a partnership with the City of Rialto, National CORE conducted a $37 million rehabilitation of the deteriorating condominiums known as Citrus Grove in the Willow Winchester neighborhood. The completed project features 152 newly-refurbished affordable housing apartments offering a safe and healthy living environment for residents.
CHC member organization, LINC is committed to creating and preserving housing that is affordable, environmentally sustainable, and a catalyst for community improvement. With their PepperWood Apartments, LINC has successfully completed an inspiring rehabilitation project in Southern California’s Rancho Cucamonga.
Opening later this month in Marin County, San Clemente Place is a 79-unit affordable apartment development that will showcase the commitment of CHC Member EAH Housing to sustainable development practices in close proximity to jobs, shopping, parks, schools and transportation. At Pico/Gramercy Apartments, Meta Housing is addressing the enormous demand for housing affordable to working families in Los Angeles. Located in the Mid-City Corridor redevelopment area, the project is conveniently located near schools, shopping, and public transit, Pico/Gramercy has become a community amenity contributing to the neighborhood’s revitalization.
As part of the quickly expanding Mission Bay district in San Francisco, The Related Companies of California, Nibbi Bros. Contractors, and David Baker and Partners Architects (all CHC members) recently completed the 236 unit Crescent Cove Apartments.
